Sails Drug Store - Sail's Pharmacy in Yucaipa is DANGEROUS. Wrong meds. Lost Rx's. Double doses. BEWARE.

This is not simply the most annoying pharmacy I've ever been to, it's literally dangerous. The most common occurance is there is no follow through -- if its not a simple perscription fill (i.e.

they need authorization or Dr approval on a refill) it goes to the bottom of the stack and God knows when they will get around to it. But it's much worse than that. They have lost multiple perscriptions. One time they gave me another woman's medication.

And yet another time, I received duplicate bottles for the same med.I wish I knew where to report this, because sooner or later someone is going to get hurt by their inefficiency.

Review about: Perscription Medication.

It seems like Sail's has really lost good customer service since I no longer work there.I always go out of my way to please a customer some patients don't understand the process it takes when getting a refill.

We have to wait at least 3 days before calling a doctors office for a refill approval. Since Sail is a small business we actually have the time to personally call doctors offices and they use to do that everyday. If you have no refills left you should call a week in advance so you can avoid running out of your medicine. Were all human and we don't produce magic there are law we have to follow.

It is the insurance companies who don't cover certain medications. People don't know that if there is a subsutitue they can simply have the medication changed. Or better yet your insurance company should send you a list at the beginning of the year of what's on there formulary ( a list of covered drugs ). Good luck if you have medical or medicare because they cover very little.

Giving the wrong medicine or duplicates is just lazy that's why there are labels to check against the computer system before a customer signs that they recieved their medication.I'm sorry you guys had such a bad experience with them.

WE USED TO GET OUR SCRIPTS FILLED ST SAILS.NO LONGER.

IT WOULD AT TIMES TAKE SEVERAL DAYS TO GET ONE FILLED. IF A SCRIPT NEEDED A REFILL APPROVAL FROM THE DR. THEY WOULD SEND ONE TIME, THEN JUST WAIT. THEY WOULD NOT RESEND AFTER A DAY OR SO.

MY HUSBAND COULD NOT GO THAT LONG WITHOUT HIS MEDS. WE LEFT SAILS FOR ANOTHER PHARMACY HERE IN YUCAIPA.

THEY GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO HELP IN ANYWAY THEY CAN.WOULD NOT RECOMMEND SAILS PHARMACY TO ANYONE.
